About the Event
Encouraging literacy and cultural storytelling by working directly with young elementary school children. We will visit schools in Multnomah and Southern Willamette counties to read our "Generous-City storybook", which teaches what generosity looks like in everyday life from a fun and engaging point of view children can understand. Additionally, each school we visit will receive a donated "Black Authors Book Grant" ensuring that diverse stories are accessible to young readers.
