For the last few weeks, our team has been running a social media campaign in order to get donations needed to provide 100 Sack Lunches & 100 Hygiene Kits delivered to Blanchet House, a shelter located in the heart of Downtown Portland. We had a few donations come in here and there but with 7 days left to go, we were still a glaring $300 short of the funds needed to reach our goal.

After some much needed prayer we received word that a generous sponsor was willing to give us $1 for every social media post where someone describes what "Generosity" means to them or details a moment where someone showed them an example of generosity tagging us and using our hashtag #GenerosityStartsWithMe. We put this news out to the public and the posts started pouring in! Not only were we able to flood social media with kindness and love for a few days instead of typical bad news cycles we have all become accustomed to, but the posts resulted in more people sending donations than ever before!

By the end of it all, our team of volunteers were able to package 100 sack lunches as well as 120 hygiene kits! Each made with love in uniquely & individually designed bags.

From the sandwiches and snacks to the hygiene essentials, every piece came together because people cared and that care made a real impact.

Together, we turned everyday items into something much bigger: hope, dignity, and a reminder that no one is forgotten.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to every single person who donated, showed up, and supported this effort. Your generosity fuels our mission and continues to prove that Generosity Starts with Me is more than a slogan—it’s a movement.
