With Love Oregon was founded back in 2013 when a local teacher saw a need for children under the school age who are in the foster care system. This extraordinary person realized that when a resource family takes in a child from the foster system, the process is done so very swiftly, not leaving much time for said resource family to gather the necessary items that particular child/children may need.
Anyone with kiddos under the age of 6 years old understands how rapidly children grow and change and therefore need a lot of things such as beds/bedding, highchairs, clothes, bottles, strollers, baths/toiletries, toys, and countless other necessities.
Thus grew the opportunity for individuals to donate these items or volunteer dropping off to resource families (FOR FREE) in an attempt to lighten their load and give them peace of mind that they are not in this alone. They lead with the slogan “Offering Dignity, Hope, and Support To Foster Families”.
Now 12 years later, With Love Oregon is servicing an average of 110 children per month in over 22 counties throughout Oregon and Washington!
