About Us

Before there were forms, before there were bylaws and a board of directors, before there were legalities - there was just love in action. Learn more about the catalyst that created what Generous-City is today!

Generosity Starts With Me

Generous-City (pronounced like "generosity") is a non-profit organization established on the belief that generosity starts with me -  the individual.

Our Mission

We strongly hold that even the smallest acts of kindness can ripple effect—one city, one person, one moment at a time—until generosity becomes a central focus, fostering a movement.

Our Vision

Generous-City exists to turn compassion into action. We uplift underserved communities by mobilizing local businesses, nonprofits, and everyday citizens to show up in tangible consistent ways. From essential item and food drives, neighborhood clean ups, to our Generous Days Community Pop-ups, and soon, the launch of GCC Educational Youth Community Gardens, our work meets real needs while restoring dignity and connection.

Our model is collaborative by design. We call ourselves the nonprofits nonprofit  because we intentionally amplify, support, promote, volunteer for, and partner with fellow nonprofits to help multiply impact across the city. There is a reason why they say that a rising tide raises all boats, and we strive to prove that theory everyday.

Through business sponsorships, community partnerships, merchandise that spreads our message, and engaging in joyful citywide events, we transform generosity into measurable impact.

Every dollar invested fuels direct community care; resource fairs, neighborhood initiatives, youth scholarships, and support for fellow nonprofits and families in need.

Our "Why"

We are working to build more than programs. We are building a culture where generosity starts with each of us and grows into something greater than any single organization.

Meet Our Team

We are the hands and voices behind the ripple effect; a collective of leaders and community members working in tandem to restore our city. Through consistent action and measurable care, we ensure our neighbors feel seen and every moment becomes a strategic opportunity for radical generosity.
